DataTool

The Database Interrogation tool or ‘DataTool’ has been designed to allow quick and easy access to the large amount of data collected by the AtSchool projects such as CensusAtSchool and ExperimentsAtSchool

The tool works through a web browser such as Internet Explorer and requires a live internet connection so that data can be requested and sent from the AtSchool databases.

  • A PDF guide to help using the DataTool can be downloaded here
  • Data Tool – Getting Started

The new DataTool facilitates the real-time interaction with and manipulation of CensusAtSchool data from all completed questionnaires in the UK and internationally. A quick, easy and accessible way of producing meaningful graphs you will also find some resources on this page that should help in getting to grips with it.

For this interactive tool you will need Flash.

New: There is now a new version of the DataTool that contains new data. Note that you will no longer be able to access the ExperimentsAtSchool data using this tool. The ExperimentsAtSchool version, along with Reaction Timer data, can be found here: www.ExperimentsAtSchool.org.uk

Sometimes school network security stops the tool opening in its own window. The following link will launch the tool in a browser window: http://datatool.censusatschool.org.uk/
